Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- NAIDOC week
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.

Book Week
What a fantastic day for our annual Book Parade! This year's theme, Book an Adventure, truly came to life with a spectacular display of imagination and creativity.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our families, we were dazzled by an array of enchanting costumes and characters that turned our parade into a spellbinding spectacle.
Creative & Performing Arts
At Nashdale, students are given wonderful opportunities to showcase their talents through a range of performances.
Recently, our K–2 and 3–6 dance troupes took to the stage at both the Orange Eisteddfod and the Public Schools of Orange Showcase, proudly representing our school.
As well as Eisteddfods, The Orange Small Schools Association (OSSA) join together every two years to provide students with the exciting experience of performing in a large-scale production.
As part of the Creative and Performing Arts curriculum, the OSSA Spectacular is held at the Orange Civic Theatre—a highlight on the calendar and a fantastic night out for the whole family.
BACK TO BACK - Western PSSA Girl Champions
Congratulations to Mrs Dennis and her amazing OSSA Green (Nashdale & Canobolas PS) Girls Hockey team who have claimed consecutive Western PSSA titles.
Thanks to Parkes East Public School for a great game and to all of the supporters who cheered the girls on.
Next stop - State Championships in Newcastle where Mrs Dennis and her team will attempt to reclaim their State Champions mantle.
