Nashdale Public School is located in the glorious foothills of Mount Canobolas on the outskirts of Orange in Central Western NSW and has fostered excellence since 1888.
The school is set amongst picturesque surroundings, with stunning flora and historic buildings providing the perfect backdrop for students to grow and learn. We primarily serve a vibrant rural community of students from surrounding small farm holdings, vineyards and orchards.
Some students also commute from the nearby city of Orange, travelling either by bus or private vehicle. Nashdale welcomes students from outside the area when positions are available. We offer a comprehensive curriculum with a strong focus on academic excellence for all students. Instruction is focused on every student reaching or exceeding national standards.
Our highly skilled staff provide a balanced, stimulating and caring atmosphere for all children to progress. Programs presented to students allow for individuality to develop through the provision of a stimulating and challenging curriculum with targeted opportunities to be extended or consolidated dependent of learning needs.
This is balanced with a rich extra-curricular program. All students build digital literacy using a wide range of technologies to support their learning.
All classrooms utilise interactive whiteboards, Smart TVs, ipads, notebook computers in addition to range of other peripherals and applications. The emphasis is upon using technology as an effective tool for learning.
